Meet Cora D’Lisse: Professional Circus Artist & Aerialist
Cora D’Lisse is an Irish-American circus artist currently based in Houston, Texas. Formerly based in Limerick, Ireland, Cora completed her training with the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance as well as with the Irish Aerial Creation Centre. She has worked with companies such as Fidget Feet Aerial Dance and Dance Limerick, and is currently working with The Artz Houston.
Cora specializes in both ground dance and aerial acrobatics. Her primary apparatus is aerial rope, but her expertise includes a wide range of aerial apparatuses, such as silks, trapeze, hoop, sling, straps, spiral, cube, contortion straps, moon, and other specialty apparatuses. Her professional skills also include a range of ground dance styles, ground circus skills, character work, music, and other movement arts.
She can be found teaching and performing internationally, and loves sharing her passion for expression and storytelling through movement with her students and audiences!
